Bali is a dream destination, tropical beaches, lush jungles and stunning rice terraces.
Getting married in Bali is the ultimate dream for many, and in this article, I’ll go through 10 of the most amazing wedding venues in Bali, the Island of the Gods.
Bali floating leaf
One of my favorite resorts in Bali is Bali Floating leaf.
In amongst the rice terrace of Sukawati, this beautiful resort is geared more to the personal and intimate with accommodation for 24 people in either pool or garden view rooms.
The unique architecture of the resort curves the main building around the large pool, with seating and relaxing areas dotted around for the ultimate in comfort.
The resort has won a number of eco awards over the years, and the food and amenities are top of class.
The owners Mikaku and Putu Maryam are super friendly and responsive to all the requests of their guests, let them tailor your perfect wedding and guarantee an unforgettable experience for your special day.
A great find in Bali.
The Edge.
The Edge is a private enclave operated by an impeccably trained team of butlers 24 hours a day on the southern tip of Bali comprising of just eight villas with a total of 17 bedrooms, two swimming pools, one day club, 2 restaurants and 3 bars, bowling, a pool table and karaoke, and a tennis court.
With truly breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean at the pinnacle of the Uluwatu clifftops, the edge has a justly deserved reputation for hosting some of the most memorable & opulent weddings in Bali.

Have a DJ play for you, arrange a spectacular fireworks display and even hire someone to handle all of your social media to let everyone know how your amazing day went.

Mandapa resort
For more of a jungle theme you could consider the Mandapa resort.
Set along the Ayung River in Bali’s cultural heart of Ubud, the hotel offers luxury, butler-attended villas and suites.
With six different ceremony venues and three restaurants to choose for the wedding reception, you’ll certainly be spoilt for choice.
Have your ceremony by the Ayung river, at their Rice terrace deck overlooking the rice terrace fields or at their Sky wedding cliff edge venue.

Ayana resort and spa Bali
Ayana has a great deal to offer.
Among the various types of wedding venue ranging from garden to villa, SKY AYANA is one of our top recommendations on this list.
Notably stunning is the cliff view area, floating 35 meters above the Indian Ocean, the open deck provides clear view of the horizon line guaranteed to add a dramatic touch to your events.

Sthala Ubud.
Located on the top of a hill that overlooks the mystical river valley and the traditional Lodtunduh village, the Sthala Ubud resort is an oasis of calm form the bustling streets of nearby Ubud.
Another amazing riverside wedding venue, with their Wos riverside deck location
The riverside deck looks out on a Balinese temple and is situated by their ‘bridge of love’ which spans the river.
The resort also has a number of other wedding venues to choose from.
The Abing Terraces, Sthala Wedding Chapel, Naga Rooftop Bar & Lounge
All amazing locations, of note is the Chapel which is located on the 8th floor with a commanding view of the Lodtunduh village and the natural beauty of its setting.

Kamandalu Ubud
The Kamandalu is another breathtaking river location, overlooking the lush, tropical Ubud and the serene waters of the Petanu River.
“Kamandulu” in Sanskrit represents a container that holds holy water.
The resort takes inspiration and guidance from their name, interweaving the blessings of Nature for peace and prosperity for the newlyweds, in tune with the traditional values of the Balinese way of harmony and life.
The resort pays close attention to detail and will factor in all of your requirements to make sure your day goes perfectly.

Lake Beratan wedding
How about something a little different, a wedding ceremony on lake Beratan.
On the same pristine shores as the world famous Ulan Danau Temple and surrounded by lush forests and rice fields, the lake is a simply gorgeous location.
Due to the elevation, the temperature at the lake holds a pretty steady 23 degrees Celsius, and due to the gentle breeze across the water if feels cooling all year round.
Take a local canoe out for a trip on the lake, and after, when the ceremony is done, head to the villa where you can spend a memorable post-ceremony in amongst the sounds of the surrounding natural beauty.

Nungnung Waterfall wedding
Located approximately a 50-minute ride from Ubud, even the journey to the waterfall is spectacular, taking you through local villages and past beautiful rice terraces.
The falls are secluded and stunning, and nestled far from the hectic hustle and bustle of other parts of the island.
The location lends itself perfectly to any cleansing or purification rituals you may wish to perform, and of course, offers the perfect backdrop to your all-important photos of the day.
